Hey there! My name is Kristen, friends and family call me Kris for short.
I am 25 and pursuing a Masters degree in Journalism & Mass Communication at San José State University in San José, California. I am originally from North Carolina. I love my hometown, Charlotte, but I love traveling much more!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and have worked various jobs in the health care and fitness industry. With that being said, I am naturally health conscious and agonize over what I put into my body each day. However, my weakness is cake, as you may have already guessed after viewing my blog.
This blog is intended to be a vehicle for self-publishing articles pertaining to my adventures in the kitchen. No, I am not a professional baker. I am like any other "20-something" who wants to learn how to cook and bake. I just want to share my success and failures in the kitchen, as well as make friends along the way!
